About the project

BusinessBVI is the premier business and investment publication in the British Virgin Islands. I was hired by Oyster Global Marketing to develop the brand and to direct and provide the layout design (2006-2010) and photography (2006- ).

In Fall of 2006 Oyster Global Marketing contacted me to work on their brainchild BusinessBVI. I worked closely with them to first develop the magazine's identity and then raced against time to help them meet their goal of a October publication date.

We returned to the project in each of the following years and we were able to develop it into a platform that brought the sophisticated and complex nuances of business in the British Virgin Islands to a wide audience. My thinking was that this was to be a business publication that appreciated beautiful imagery and clean design.
